Peter VK3TPM spoke about recent success using Claude Code to greatly assist in ham radio projects including a python script to convert a WAV audio file into an IQ file for sideband transmission on a HackRF.
Also he discussed recent progress in translating FreeDV RADEV1 from python to C which has resulted in a functional application that both receives and transmits while being a fraction of the currently shipping FreeDV GUI app.
After the meeting some of the group retired to a local cafe for further discussion and a scrumptious lunch.
