2M net: Every Wednesday night, 147.250 MHz, (VK3RMM repeater) at 2000 Hrs.

80M net: Every Wednesday night, 3.685 MHz at 2030 Hrs.

The nets are run by a rostered club member using the club callsign VK3RA.

Even with noise on the frequency, 80m signals are excellent.

While 80m is generally regarded as a good band for local contacts, we’ve often had Peter, VK3RV, joining when in VK5 and we’ve had a report that some stations can be heard on an indoor loop in Sydney.
