It’s that time again when we make our annual pilgrimage to the top of Mount Macedon.
It doesn’t seem like it has been 12 months since our last family day.

Time – 1000 hrs.
Catering: BYO everything. (Don’t forget to bring a chair, sunscreen, insect repellent and an umbrella.)
How to get there:
Heading up Mt Macedon road, from the Gisborne side, pass through Mt Macedon township and continue toward the top of the Mount.
Lions Head Road is on the right, 100 metres further on from the Memorial Cross turnoff, Cameron Drive, on the left.
Reduce speed when you sight the Memorial Cross turn off, Lions Head Road comes up very quickly. Take care when turning right, some oncoming vehicles travel very fast across the top of the Mount.
The picnic ground is approximately 800 metres from Mt Macedon road. Toilets are adjacent to the site.
For those not familiar with the area, there will be a talk in on the Mt Macedon repeater, VK3RMM, 147.250 MHz.
