If you live anywhere near the Macedon ranges and are interested in Amateur Radio here’s a few tips:
- Come to one of our meetings in Woodend and chat with members about the hobby
- The first step, which is pretty easy to take, is the Foundation License.
- Get a copy of The Foundation Manual from the WIA.
- Our closest examiner is Tony Falla VK3KPP located in Castlemaine – we can put you in touch
Amateur radio is a wonderful hobby enjoyed by members as young as 12 years and as old as… I’ll leave that statistic alone for now!
